Basic rotations for hoop D
hoopdefense
Description
Diagram 1: Beater w/DB is fairly central to guard the first pass across if they become a driving threat.
Diagram 2: Offense passes ball behind the hoops. Default is closest hoop defender goes to cover the ball. Keeper covers the hoop of the defender who is now on ball. Beater w/DB goes slightly behind hoops to support as needed. Chasers should communicate coverage behind hoops before pass goes up to ensure there isn't a mismatch.
Diagram 3: Quaffle carries or passes to side of the hoop. Keeper sticks with being on-ball. Hoop defenders come slightly off the hoops to get more in the passing lanes and are ready to return if their cover doesn't receive the next pass.
